Oldonyo Lengai, located in Tanzania, is an active stratovolcano and the only known carbonatite volcano. It stands as the country's third-highest peak, offering unique geological features and challenging climbs.

"Mountain of God" by the Maasai people. Its unique characteristic lies in its volcanic activity, which primarily emits natrocarbonatite lava, making it the only active volcano in the world to do so. This lava, unlike typical molten rock, appears black during the day but emits an eerie, glowing incandescence at night, creating a surreal sight against the African landscape.
