CHILD POLICY

Children must always travel under the supervision of their parents or adults during their stay in Tanzania or other holiday destinations booked with Kearsley Travel.

Every hotel/ accommodation differs in their pricing for children, and generally, children under the age of 12 sharing a room with two adults, pay 50-70% of the accommodation rate. The same applies to excursions such as a walking safari, a hot-air balloon ride, etc.

Select hotels, lodges, camps, and resorts do not allow children below seven years. Kindly indicate the age of your children to our tour consultant while making your bookings/ discussing your itinerary.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We cater to varied dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, kosher meals, etc. Any dietary requirement must be communicated to Kearsley Travel while making your bookings.

LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE

While booking a holiday in East Africa, you need to be mindful of your baggage. If you are booking a flying safari package, you will be allowed to carry only 15 kg. Similarly, a mountain climbing trip requires you to carry the necessary baggage and leave all your additional luggage at the hotel.

Shall you have excessive luggage, you will be allowed to keep it at the hotel/ our offices. Kindly note Kearsleys Travel is not responsible for any missing items or damage done to your belongings.

Luggage that is lost or delayed by the airline often causes a disturbance during your planned tour. We will do our best to help you if such a situation may occur. However, we strongly advise you: to arrive two or three days before the tour, and carry your essential travel luggage, such as walking boots, mediate, etc in your hand luggage.

Any additional cost incurred for the baggage transfer will be borne by the traveler and needs to be paid locally. Due to your prior bookings, no changes can be made to your itinerary, and cancellation charges will apply where need be.

INSURANCE

Kearsley Travels recommends you take full insurance while booking your holiday to East Africa to cover you against accidents, cancellations, lost baggage, health emergency, natural disaster, strikes, etc. We will not accept/ bear any liability due to injuries, damages, losses, or negligence of the client/ staff or service provider.
