A holiday in East Africa is a thrilling experience, and guests are expected to travel open-mindedly and dive into the adventure. To make sure you spend quality time while here and travel stress-free, we have laid down some important information to consider when booking your safari, mountain climbing, or beach vacation.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. During peak travel seasons, such as Easter, Christmas, and New Year, a supplement charge or/ and minimum stay at a property may apply. If your preferred accommodation is unavailable at the time of booking, we will offer the closest available alternative, which may vary in price and location.
Rates provided are subject to change due to fluctuations in park fees, taxes, fuel prices, VAT, or third-party amendments that are beyond our control. Any alterations in flight timings, connections, or cancellations must be communicated immediately to Kearsleys. Any costs incurred due to such changes will be the responsibility of the traveler. Kearsleys cannot be held liable for missed flights or subsequent costs, even if tickets are booked by Kearsleys.
If amendments to the itinerary are necessary (such as an extension of stay or additional excursions), these must be communicated to Kearsleys at least 14 days prior to the travel date. Changes are subject to availability, and additional costs may apply.
Once your booking is confirmed, an invoice will be generated, and full payment is required according to the terms indicated in writing. We reserve the right to cancel bookings where payments are not received by the due date.
We require a 30% deposit to confirm the booking, with the remaining 70% due 60 days prior to arrival. Some accommodations may have different payment terms, and this will be communicated where applicable.

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following schedule:
Any refunds due will be processed within 90 days, less a 3% administrative fee and any applicable bank charges.

Certain accommodations may have minimum age requirements for children. These will be communicated at the time of booking. Additional fees may apply for children at certain properties.
Please inform Kearsleys of any dietary, medical and allergy requirements at the time of booking to ensure that your needs are accommodated during your trip.
Please ensure that your luggage complies with the airline's or transport provider's requirements. Any excess baggage charges are the responsibility of the traveler.
We strongly advise all travelers to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance prior to departure. This should cover cancellations, medical emergencies, accidents, baggage loss, and any other unforeseen circumstances.
Kearsleys shall not be held liable for any delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, wars, civil unrest, or government-imposed restrictions.
Travellers accept/ give their consent that their photos/ videos taken during their travels with Kearsleys and those shared by them with us, can be used for our companies Social Media, website, and marketing material. And have no objection in doing so. In the case, they do not wish for this, each traveller will write an official letter informing us not to use their photos/ videos during their trip before their travels begin with us. Any content already used prior submission of their letter, cannot be removed, and only apply to new content.
