Featuring isolated rocky hills and giant ancient baobab trees, Mkomazi National Park is an exotic destination in Northern Tanzania. It is surrounded by Mount Kilimanjaro and Tsavo national park in the north, and Paare and Usambara in the south and is frequented by migratory animals including zebras, oryx and elephants during the wet season.
The most popular animals which can be spotted here include giraffes, hartebeest, impalas, gazelle, topi and eland. Due to the thin population of elephants some animals like wild dogs and black rhinos have been reintroduced, and you will also be able to spot lesser kudu and antelopes.
