DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
Embark on a captivating journey with our day-to-day itinerary, revealing a seamless blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation from start to finish.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport with your flight, meet and greet your safari guide, begin your journey to Arusha (approx. 1hr drive). Reach your base lodge for a pre- climb briefing with your mountain guide.

Breakfast, checkout and depart to Momella gate (inside of Arusha National Park) approx.50mins drive. After registration trek through the grassland and into the rain forest with your guide and armed ranger (share by all groups for everyone’s safety whilst you hike near wildlife). On trekking may encounter some wild animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, Zebra or Giraffe and plant of bird and plant species on your way to Miriakamba Hut.

After early breakfast, proceed with hike and leave rain forest behind, hike takes you into the heather and moorland zone ascending through the changed landscape along the edges of the Saddle between the Meru Peaks as you start to get views of the Crater and Asha Tray. After arriving at the Saddle Hut, hike further to the peak of Little Meru for additional acclimatization before your summit attempt.

Early morning around (00:00am) begin your final ascend to the summit of Meru through the Alpine zone. The trek is a steep hike over loose volcanic scree taking you to Rhino Point (3800m or12470ft) then to Cobra Point (4350m or 14270ft) before reaching the ridge of Ash and rock till the Socialist Peak (4566m or 14980ft) which is Tanzania’s second highest and Africa’s 4th highest mountain top where you may enjoy a sunrise before descending back through the trail all the way down to the rain forest zone. Night at Miriakamba Hut (2515m or 8250ft)

Early breakfast, checkout from Miriakamba Hut and descent through the same rain forest as on the first day until Momella gate. At arrival meet your driver with a safari vehicle and begin your transfer back to Arusha approx. 50mins drives. Arrive in Arusha and drop off to your lodge for stay
