Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp is an eco-friendly safari retreat set at the Lemala Extra private campsite on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Just a few hundred metres from the Lemala descent route, the camp offers exceptional access to the crater floor—allowing guests to reach prime wildlife viewing areas in approximately 15 minutes.
The camp features 16 spacious walk-in tents with wooden floors and handcrafted twin beds made of fine tropical wood. Designed for comfort while maintaining an authentic safari feel, each tent includes quality bedding and can accommodate triple occupancy. Private verandahs with safari chairs and tables provide a tranquil space to unwind while taking in the crisp highland air and surrounding wilderness.
En-suite facilities include a hand washbasin, safari bucket shower, and chemical toilet, reflecting the camp’s commitment to conservation.
