Opened in 2023, Ikoma Hills Camp is a permanent lodge set in a prime location near the Grumeti River, offering excellent wildlife viewing year-round. The camp is a pioneer in eco-friendly safaris, operating entirely on solar power and using fully electric safari vehicles. Guests can experience exclusive nighttime safaris with lamps and thermo-cameras or embark on guided walking safaris with expert nature guides. Built on a scenic hillside, all tents and common areas provide breathtaking views of the surrounding plains. The lodge features 10 luxury tents, each with a private terrace facing west for spectacular sunset views. The restaurant and bar, housed in beautifully thatched and elegantly decorated buildings, open onto large stone terraces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere with a cozy fireplace for evening relaxation.
